Watercolours by Marilyn Wright

I was born and raised in Northern Ontario. After raising five children, I discovered watercolour painting as an outlet for my creativity. Since then I have taken the development of my technique very seriously and paint daily.

My watercolour paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of the North Channel of Lake Huron and the La Cloche Mountains near Whitefish Falls, Ontario where I live year-round.

My paintings are full of mood, colour and atmosphere and my works have been exhibited at the juried La Cloche Art Show, the juried Open Door Art Show in Sudbury, the Sheguiandah Museum, the Bay of Islands Group of Five Art Show and the Perivale Gallery on Manitoulin Island.

I hope that people will enjoy my paintings as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
